How do companies set up their prices? I was always wondering why do we have a different prices from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, sometimes we have higher prices in Al Ain City, comparing to Dubai, and in some items it is the reverse.
It is all about what we call (Pricing Strategies), some companies compete in the market with the lowest prices ever! .. like Daiso, the Japanese store, they have every thing which you can imagine and can't imagine. When people go there, they buy more that what they really need! because the price is low! however you end up with a *Good* amount of money to pay, but it is good pricing
strategy to attract people! ..
I have a friend who started her own small business, she is making a cupcake, the prices is TOO LOW!!! .. and I asked her, why do you sell your cupcakes in a very low price? .. she said this is my strategy, other people sell them in a high price, and I want to get more customers with a lower prices, she end up with a lot of customers, because they get a good quality and prices.
